We strive to spearhead the transformation of the village community from an inert and dejected group of individuals into a self-reliant cooperative community to enhance the quality of life and constantly increase incomes from organic farming that is eco-friendly.

Our constant endeavor is to empower the individual as well as to preserve the harmonious homogeneity of the community.

We firmly believe that once the stake holders perceive that their livelihood chances are improving, conflicts of interests will reduce and reconciliation of shared interests will become easier.

We feel that there is no essential or irreconcilable conflict between the local and the global nor is development the binary opposite of environmental protection. Sustainable development is possible and the best way to demonstrate this is to let the participants reap short term benefits through time bound projects building on what they know and can do easily if they learn new skills and are prepared to engage in comparatively complex tasks as a team. The long term benefits are far more immeasurable. They promise much higher standards of nutrition and healthcare and employment opportunities. These we believe will inevitably follow.

The project dedicates each one of us in Him Nectar Foods to resolve in mission mode till this vision is realized. We intend to achieve this with the strategy that includes and incorporates:

>> Restoration of skills- traditional or specialized that are not commonly recognized- self-esteem through skill training and enhancement.

>> Building up of self-confidence through provision of remunerative jobs, whole time or part time to under or unemployed youth.

>> Building up team spirit and capacity building.

>> Imparting new skills through specialized training programmes and modules.

>> Spreading awareness about fast pace changes in the realm of appropriate technology and the market place.
